A. Martin Wuttke
Director of Clinical Services, Southern Institute of Psycho-Physiology

 A. Martin Wuttke, is the founder and clinical director of Southern Institute of Psycho-Physiology in Clayton, GA. He was affiliated with Ridgecrest Hospital and Woodridge Psychiatric Hospital from 1986 to 1995, where he pioneered one of the first large scale EEG Biofeedback/Stress Management programs in the US, which he designed and directed.

Mr. Wuttke is on the teaching faculty of EEG Spectrum, the largest provider of EEG Biofeedback training for health professionals. He has been an instructor for EEG Biofeedback courses since 1990 for several other organizations, including both the Georgia and Greater Washington Associations of Applied Psychophysiology, as well the Menniger Clinic, where he has been a speaker and lecturer. He has taught Neurofeedback to MD's, psychiatrists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, and many other professionals. His article, "Addiction, Awakening, and EEG Biofeedback" published in June 1992 biofeedback magazine, moved Mr. Wuttke into the international spotlight as an authority and clinical expert in the newly emerging field of Neurofeedback.

He's been a consultant to various hospitals and organizations around the nation, including the Texas Commission on Drug and Alcoholism where his knowledge and expertise was instrumental in introducing Neurofeedback into several state programs in Texas. He is president of the Georgia Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, a member of the National Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, The National Registry of Neurofeedback Providers, and the Society for the Study of Neuronal Regulation. Mr. Wuttke acquired his training in mental health as part of one of the most innovative clinical staffs for addiction and psychiatric treatment. He has a background in psychology, anatomy, physiology, clinical hypnosis, and is a Certified Neurofeedback Provider (CNP).

Mr. Wuttke is a pioneer in combining multiple protocols of Neurofeedback therapy as an intervention for depression, traumatic brain injury, nicotine dependence, eating disorders, chronic pain, chemical dependency and alcoholism. He continues to develop, research, and teach protocols for Neurofeedback application with ADD/ADHD, addictions, psychiatric disorders, traumatic brain injury, and chronic pain.

He is working on the development of a pilot project in Georgia focused on a multi-disciplinary approach to helping young children with learning or other development problems. Based around a school established in Minnesota, it combines several innovative new methods in addition to Neurofeedback which has demonstrated that young children benefit from these treatments at the earliest possible age.

Dr. Don Cornelius, Psychiatrist

"Marty's work was as remarkable a healing process as I've ever seen in any other capacity."

Dr. Cornelius worked with Mr. Wuttke at Woodridge Hospital for 9 years, and saw him treat over 1500 patients using Neurofeedback.

Dr. Angelo Bolea, Ph.D., Neuropsychologist

"Marty is extremely knowledgeable in Neurofeedback. He came and taught a class for us in the greater Washington area, and almost every health professional in that class is now practicing Neurofeedback."

 Dr. Deepak Chopra, MD

"I believe Marty is on the cutting edge of the movement to utilize technology to amplify self-referral (self-healing process) . . . he is ideally suited to maximize the benefits of biofeedback, while never forgetting that people are in essence spiritual beings."
